The brief
A theatre production with fixed rehearsal and performance times. The lighting system had to stay reproducible between rehearsal and show, and changes made in rehearsal had to be playable the same evening.
Equipment used
- grandMA3 at the control position, show backed up on media and on the network
- LumiNode for DMX on bars, portal and stage floor
- Luminex GigaCore network between control, stage and lighting bridge
- Preconfigured rack with network and power distribution
Outcome
Rehearsal changes were playable the same evening without touching the patch, and every performance started from the saved show state.
