The brief
A spoken-word evening needs quiet lighting: calm cues, clean face light and no fan noise in the auditorium. On top of that, the build had to happen in one day with limited access to the hall.
Equipment used
- grandMA3 with the show preprogrammed from Depence pre-visualisation
- LumiNode for DMX on trusses, stage and auditorium
- Luminex GigaCore network between control position and stage
- Control position with console, monitors and a preconfigured rack
- StageSmarts distribution at the rigging points
Outcome
The show was preprogrammed and could be picked up on the event day without a long focus session. All cues ran from the control position and the build stayed inside the planned window.
