Briefly explained

Dry Hire: You rent the equipment only and bring your own crew. If you need someone to set up or operate it, just say so; we'll arrange that too.
U or rack unit: The measurement for devices in a rack. One rack unit is 4.45 centimeters. So a 12 U rack is just over half a meter tall.
Prepping: We set everything up beforehand: assigning network addresses, labeling devices, making up cables. On site, you simply unpack and switch on.
FOH, front of house: The working position in the middle of the audience where lighting and sound are operated. From there the crew sees and hears exactly what the guests do, which is why the position sits out front.
