The brief
A site with public traffic, a changing programme and weather risk. It needed weather-protected positions, cable runs away from walkways and a control position that brings presentation, stage and technology together.
Equipment used
- grandMA3 compact at the weather-protected control position
- LumiNode for DMX at the stage and site positions
- Luminex GigaCore network with fibre for the long runs
- StageSmarts distribution with residual current protection at every position
- Motorola radios for control, stage and stewarding
Outcome
The programme ran through, including a change in weather. Cable runs stayed out of public areas and control could reach every position directly.
